Director Riingo Banerjee's Kranti Bangla film (Buy DVD online) was released in Kolkata cinema halls in August, 2006. A Sri Venkatesh production, Kranti had a star cast of Kolkata Cinema Hero JEET paired with Swastika Mukherjee as the lead pair, with Rishi Kaushik, Rajesh Sharma, Bollywood hero Ashish Vidyarthi, Alokananda Roy, Locket Chatterjee and others in supporting roles.
