Director Kaushik Ganguly's JACKPOT (BUY DVD) quickly hit the box-office jackpot when released in 2009. Starring Hiran Chatterjee, Koel Mullick, Rahul, Sohini Pal and Tollywood hero DEV in an item number (Jibone Ki Pabona remake), the film was propelled into a superhit supported by Jeet Ganguly's Bengali imitation of old-age techno-pop music.
