Abhijit Guha and Sudesna Roy directed the Bangla comedy / teenager romance drama movie Cross Connection (2009) which had the suggestive caption "Biyer Ageyi Honeymoon". The star cast of Cross Connection also included Abir Chatterjee and Rimjhim Mitra, along with Ritwik Chakraborty, Payel Sarkar, Biswajit Chakraborty, Saswata Chatterjee, Kamalika, Surajit Banerjee, Sudeshna Roy, Abhrajit Chakraborty and more.

In addition to Cross Connection, Rimjhim Mitra had a lead role in the full-length bengali cinema Mullick Bari (2009).

Abir Chatterjee is playing Byomkesh Bakshi in Anjan Dutta's eagerly awaited Adim Ripu.
