Nayaner Alo is a stereotypical Bengali emotion-tickler with Prosenjit gyrating to pop Bengali film songs. The star cast is Indrani Haldar, Shreelekha Mitra, Aditi Chatterjee, Tapas Pal, Prosenjit, Subhendu Chatterjee, Dulal Lahiri and others. Swapan Saha scored the background music, with Ashok Bhadra directing movie songs with playback singers Kumar Sanu, Indrani Sen, Shreeradha Banerjee, Indraneel Sen, Pratik Chowdhury, Sukantha Adhikari and Mousumi Majumdar, set to lyrics by Subhash Bhadra and Sameer Ghosh. The Bengali cinema is directed by Swapan Saha.
